Unfortunately news of this NHS Castle Point and Rochford Clinical Commissioning Group Survey came to me too late to publicise.
Worse still I was unaware of any publicity that would have informed of the Survey Roadshow that visited Waterside Sports Centre and the Knightswick Centre on the 11th February and Aldi at Rushbottom Lane on the 12th February.
However, the Group wish to know from Castle Point Residents “What’s your view of local health and social care services in Castle Point and Rochford? Do things need to change?
Among the ideas on which they want views are:
Co-ordinating care much better for people who have many health and social care needs. Currently, many different agencies may be involved in someone’s care, which can be very confusing. Under a new way of working, one key worker would be in charge of someone’s care rather than lots of different professionals.
Putting more services in the local community so people don’t have to travel to hospital
Helping people to take more responsibility for their own health and wellbeing, to try to prevent people going into hospital in the first place
The Survey remains open to participation and the webpage is available via this LINK.
A pdf booklet explaining the issues plus the link to the survey itself can be reached from the web page.
As a Community will can only be best served if we inform the Commission our thoughts and needs.
